Windows 10: W10 install halts on Copying Windows files

Discus and support W10 install halts on Copying Windows files in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I am reinstalling Windows 10 using the creation tool.     W10 install halts on Copying Windows files


    I am reinstalling Windows 10 using the creation tool. All goes well until I get to the "Copying Windows files" screen won't advance with green check-marks in Getting Files, Installing Features, etc. I even tried a different hard drive with the same results. I know in past installations it took some time to get through the green check marks, but I've waited over an hour for it to move on and it won't. Please help.

    Java.nio.file - Copying files

    You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
    You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
