  3. Trojan Scam

Had a pop-up come up on my PC with the following message "Security Warning! Found trojan on your PC" with instructions to call
****Removed phone number for security reasons**** for assistance. Can anyone confirm that this is a scam, and if so, should my first step be a forced shut-down of the PC?

***Personal information deleted for security reasons.***
