Windows 10: W11 22h2 - I fouled up the factory installed default Folder/directory structure

When I retired, the company let me have my PC, a Dell Optiplex 5070. I wanted to personalize it, removing any company specific reference information like usernames, disk volume names, etc. I just wanted to have it structured like it was from the factory. What I have ended up with is a confusing mess of duplicate folders and files. There are thousands of files with various file extensions; .mp3, .mid, .GED and plenty of other that I don't want to lose. Should I just backup all these different files to a safe external location and just reset windows? If I do that I'm guessing that I'll also los

Lumia 1520 default structure picture folders

Hi, can anyone tell me what the default structure for the phone's picture folder should be?



I mean the the structure you see when you look at your phone on the computer.



I have :



Phone:

• Pictures:
  • Pictures:
    • from "phone name":
      • Camera Roll
      • Camera-album
      • Saved Pictures
  • Camera Roll
  • Sample Pictures
  • Saved Pictures

Is this the correct structure? I have the feeling something is wrong and things are double now, but I am not sure, and I don't want to experiment with deleting things just yet.

Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...

• maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
  
• Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
  
• maybe you also add export list to excel?
  
• there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
  
• and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

Thanks buddy! Yea, this section's not dead. Kreij and I have big plans for this section. I don't want to give nothing away, but we have some bigger projects down the road. *Toast :toast: I feel I'm pretty good at coding with different languages, but I'm well behind Kreij's level of experience with those other Languages. I've been working on those other languages, and soon I'll feel comfortable enough to start, and not feel like I'm holding the project back. *Toast :toast:

By subfolders you mean add all the folders in the left panel to the right panel? Those folders are all the subfolders in the "Get folder".
