Windows 10: W11 cannot install KB5032190 - error 0x800F0922 HRESULT E_INVALIDARG ErrorCode: 80070057...

I cannot install KB5032190 - W11 always rollsback the update.Tried all possible fixes: - update troubleshooter did not help - sfc scan did not help - DISM online restorehealth did not help - App Readiness service did not help - Check disk space in reserved partition did not help - stopped all update services, deleted all update folders, started again did not help - and all other suggested solutions did not helpSeems to be related to installing some windows store app packages that are failing due to: Installer: AppX Registration Installer Binary Name: appxreg.dll ErrorCode: 800700

SetImageFlags returned E_INVALIDARG in Windows mobile 6.0

Hi,



I am trying to make IImage Transperent using following statment, the image has Magenta Color in background.



HRESULT hResult = image->SetImageFlags(ImageFlagsHasTranslucent |ImageFlagsCaching );



here hResult returns me E_INVALIDARG.



Can somebody please suggest me what wrong in this code?

Can you help me with error 0x800F0922 in installation net framework 4.8 on Windows 10

I have problem with installation Net Framework 4.8 on Windows 10 Enterprise iot 2016 LTSB (1607, build 14393.2551). Installer return error 0x800F0922. Windows has integrated Net Framework 4.6.

I try classic offline runtime installer, it show error 0x800F0922, next step manually installation Windows10.0-KB4486129-x64.cab, it same error. Web installer and developer pack have same problem, upgrade to latest Windows update for 1607 same problem. I try disable net frameworks in features and repeat every opinions of installations and it show same error.

Repair tool for net framework show few errors in CBS.log:

I understand that it can get difficult if the update are not working as expected. However, we can go ahead and try few steps to see if we can resolve this issue.

1. Are you aware of any major updates that were installed recently?
2. May I know the current build and the version that you are working with?

Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

1. Open control panel by typing
   Control in the search bar located on the taskbar and pressing Enter.
   
2. Select Programs & features in the applets and click on
   View installed updates from the left pane.
   
3. Make a right click on the items Microsoft Visual C++ and choose Uninstall.
   
4. Pick Yes from the pop up saying “Are you sure you want to uninstall this update”.
   
5. Restart your system and install update.
   

Note: After restating the PC, I suggest you to install the latest Visual C++ Update.

I also suggest you to refer this article
FIX: "HRESULT: 0x80073715" error when you install an application by using an .msi file if the file is merged with merge modules for the Visual C++ 2005 runtime library, and check with the Microsoft Voice/Chat support team
as you are looking for a hotfix for the issue.
