Windows 10: W2K22 Server Big BOO BOO from Ms (whether VM or real version)

Hi there What's up with Ms QC these days -- can't they even get the simplest of things correct. Anybody in the Windows insider program can download the W2K22 Server preview versions -- good for people who want to test / learn Windows server who for all sorts of reasons can't afford to buy it or don't work for an organisation in the I.T dept that handles the servers. BUT Please Ms -- Big defects here : 1) The wretched thing won't activate so you can't apply any personalised changes to it,, 2) Another mega negative is you can't change the WORKGROUP name - which is a bit of a bugbear if your LAN has a different name to WORKGROUP. Why on earth they did that -- who knows - the name WORKGROUP has always been changeable before in any version of Windows including W2K19 Server. 3) They've finally got languages and all sorts of optional features (on a 2nd iso) but without activation -- it's pretty useless. C'mon Ms - what's happened to your QC these days - why throw this open for public testing if people can't test it properly. There's 2 standard product keys that are available on the web but if you use those it then requests that the product can only be activated by using your work place's activation mechanism -- which if you are a home user pretty much kills that option. Loads of people want to study servers etc -- remember todays students might be the next big buyers of Ms stuff -- but if they cant test and evaluate -- no prizes for guessing the answer. Is it any wonder some folks and businesses are using a version of a Linux Server OS? Too bad we don't know if any Microsoft employees see the issues being posted and whether the information is passed on to their bosses.
