    W8.1 Pro update history missing


    I had some problems recently with checking for the Windows 10 update. When I ran the update trouble shooter my update database folder seems to have been emptied. Now when I check my update history, it informs me that I have never tried to install any updates on my computer.

    How can I re-create the update history database?

    Anniversary Update 1607 - PRO to HOME

    Hi!

    My laptop bought in 2014 started with W8 PRO.

    I updated to W8.1 and got W8.1 Pro all right.

    I updated to W10 and got W10 1511 all right.

    I updated to W10 AU and got W10 1607 HOME - Grrrrr...

    Any idea why?

    Upgrading from W8.0 to W10

    I purchased a new Dell PC with W8.1 loaded, I upgraded to W10 with no problems. My "old" PC has W8.1 PRO and I have the licence key.

    Can I change the key on the Dell to the 8.1 PRO and acquire W10 PRO

    Does W10 have 'File History' that was introduced in W8 ?: I'm currently out of the loop with a working W10 install and so wonder if this feature is included in W10.
