    Wake on LAN doesn't work after shutdown command


    Hello, Wake on LAN only works after shutting off my pc using the power button on my pc or pressing shut down button in windows menu, but not after i use command "shutdown - s" in cmd, or any other app using commands to do this.I want to turn off my pc using Push2Run so i can turn off my pc using google assistant, but it's using the command "shutdown - s" which does not work.     Do you have the Network adapter set as shown ?

    If so, try with Admin command prompt from your Laptop:
    shutdown /s /m \\COMPUTERNAME /t 0

    Or

    shutdown /s /m \\IP ADDRESS /t 0

    Windows 10 wake on LAN not working from shutdown state

    Hi,

    When I try to start up my PC from a completely shutdown state using wake on lan, it doesn't work. However, before I reinstalled Windows it did work. I have installed the Intel lan driver for my motherboard (Gigabyte g1.sniper B6) and turned all wol options
    on. I have also followed all steps in this guide: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...em-after/89ea895f-592f-4a29-be05-ac5f3badcd3c

    I also have wake on lan enabled in my BIOS.

    Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    Ps.: When in hibernate or sleep it does work

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
