    Washed out color issue at full screen


    Recently, I purchased laptop that has i5-10210U and MX250 graphics.


    When video which is sample video from windows setting for HDR or from Intel graphics software is playing at full screen, it turns like gray color or washed out, but this problem can be disappeared immediately by moving mouse.


    But it seems not hardware problem because only windows apps, Netflix from Edge or Windows App, has problem, but not from Chrome.


    My laptop is already updated the latest version of UHD graphics driver.


    So, I want know what makes this problem and how to solve it..

    Awful washed out colors in Windows 10. Happens intermittently

    I wonder why nobody has suggested the OP to make a screenshot of display showing these "washed out colors"? Everything I have read in this thread suggests that the issue is not in Windows, but instead in display / monitor.

    My suggestion: next time you'll see these washed out colors, make a screenshot and post it here. If the screenshot shows us that colors are OK, then the issue is your monitor failing.
