Watching a newbie build a PC from scratch is painful!

I have built servers, workstations, and personal PCs for a long time. Everything in my house is built by me Or Rebuilt by me. BUT! I would never allow anyone without knowledge of hardware and compatibility to build a PC from scratch... BUT Linus Did! It was painful at times to watch. Say something if you like about the build process and Pick It Apart. Point out what she did Right! and what she did Wrong... I'm interested to read your thoughts. But if your like me! I was gritting my teeth through most of it. This is just a fun post so Enjoy the video.

    :)

  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

Newbie, looking for new graphics card.

I am currently having problems with my 4870s noise.
In my honest opinion, its just too damn loud.

Getting to the point, i am looking for a new video card that is
    • Quiet/silent
    • Decent power
    • around 120 dollars or less.
    • Dual dvi outputs for 2 monitors
    • Easy/Low maintenance
    • Not a puzzle to install
Im going to buy a new video card very soon, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
