Windows 10: wdf_violation BSOD

I use Win 10, recently updated to 1903, on an Asus notebook.

After updating to version 1903 and then using IObit Driver Booster to update some drivers (I don I get wdf_violation BSOD when restarting or on shutdown and sleep.

I don't remember the drivers which got updated in order to roll them back, and all the System Restore Points that I had created are gone.

I checked the dump files and I'm no expert. As far as I understood the cause is WUDFRd.sys but the app BlueScreenView identifies...

The WDF_VIOLATION bug check has a value of 0x0000010D. This indicates that Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) detected that Windows found an error in a framework-based driver.

BSOD WDF_Violation When Trying to do a Reset or Clean Install with Media

Thank you for your prompt response.

1. There is no error code on the screen associated with the WDF_Violation BSOD.

Pressing the shift key and holding the power button did no put the computer into recovery options, it simply booted into Windows 10 normally.

I did attempt to boot while holding the F8 key putting it into Automatic Repair status and that resulted in the same BSOD WDF_Violation.

The link you provided regarding the Bug Check 0x10D WDF_Violation did not apply as I don't have that error code, nor did it provide any details of how to correct it.

Please provide some additional ideas.
