Windows 10: "We can't connect to web search right now..."

    "We can't connect to web search right now..."


    Whenever I open the search window, it attempts to connect to something and then displays the said message. And if I disable web search, Cortana / SearchUI keeps refreshing itself causing the search window to close.


    I've run sfc numerous times and even reset the PC about 4 times already.


    Windows 10 Pro TH2 x64.


    Any idea?

    I installed windows 10 yesterday and all is well, mostly! However, when I click on "search the web and windows" on the taskbar, the message reads "we can't connect to web search right now but you can still search you're stuff - make sure you are currently
    connected to the internet". The problem is that my PC is connected to the internet (I double checked) so I don't understand this message. Any help gratefully received and can you dumb it down a bit for me!

    Bing Search error

    I have a Lumua 625. Bing is getting an error "we can't connect to search right now" and it started earlier taday , but applications like IE, One Drive and Store does not have connectivity issues
