  1. We couldn't complete the updates (KB3135173)

    Hello,

I tried installing update KB3135173. When I restarted after downloading the update, it gave me this message on the BIOS splash screen:

Then, when showing the Windows 10 start animation, it mentioned:
This happens everytime I (re)start the computer and it is kind of annoying.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    :)

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

Check if there are any Updates in HP site regarding the drivers uninstallation. If any then I suggest you to refer them and check if the issue persists.

If the drivers are not completely uninstalled also you may face this issue.

Keep us posted to help you better.

Hi, just a thought. Check inkdiv.dll exists:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ink\InkDiv.dll

Also (a wild guess) see if Settings, Speech, Inking and Typing shows anything odd.

    After that I'd suggest trying
    SFC /Scannow
from an elevated (admin) command prompt and post result.
(Windows key + X, click Command prompt (admin) )

    MS's answer (didn't work):
Fatal Error C00000D4 applying update operation 872 of 50659 - Microsoft Community

  5. Yes, the file exists. I will start a sfc /scannow prompt now.
