Windows 10: Web Cam and Cortana not working

    Web Cam and Cortana not working


    I'm having trouble with my web cam, it always says something went wrong. I tried to check it in device manager but there seems to be nothing installed, camera wise at all. I had one before the Windows 10 update and now there is nothing. Cortana has no sound also and can not hear me if I try to say anything. Thank you in advance for your help.

    just completed windows10 download (English UK) no cortana

    I have just completed a download of Windows 10 but there is no Cortana & no microphone displayed, there is a built in mike which works with the web cam and the English UK keyboard and speech is enabled

    yes I am sure, my laptop is always up to date. I even check for new updates daily. It says everything is all up to date.
