Windows 10: web pages opening slow

Hello Community:


Scenario:

I have an HP Desktop PC with Windows 10 home as the OS.

I have been having to use a password / Pin number to log onto my pc, I did not want a password sign on anymore, I tried to make the change from password log on to NO PASSWORD or PIN NUMBER I followed a lot of instruction on line BUT none of the procedures worked for me.

Last resort, I contacted Microsoft CHAT Tech support line, the tech did a remote with my PC and made the changes that now allows me to log onto my desktop without having to use a password, My PC is booting up just fine now, thanks to tech support .



NOW, since the tech made the change, all of my WEB PAGES Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and the personal files that I have saved on my PC OPEN REALLY SLOW, I am talking from between 18 to 23 seconds before the program will open. Sometimes there will pop up a BLANK white page, then the page will open after about 20 seconds this action has not happened before the service call.

Does anyone in the community have any ideas as to what might be going on and have any ideas as to a fix for this problem also how to speed up the opening of programs on my PC ??

Slow Web Pages.


Since I upgraded to Windows 10, my Web Pages are slow to react. Is there anything that I can do, short of installing more RAM, to speed up the Web Pages? Also, is there a list of Cortana Commands? I know "Open" and I just say what Web Page to go to. Is there a newer Version of Microsoft Word? I have 2010. Will Cortana type in Word for me? Having Cortana makes me want to use it to my advantage.

Opening web pages in Windows 10

Which web browser are you using?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

• Open the Web page.
• Click on Gear icon at the top right corner.
• Click on File and select Save as
• You can save in different format.
• Open file Explorer select and right click on web page which is saved in File Explorer.
  
• Select open with and Select WordPad or notepad.
• There you will be able to Edit .

Building a Web Page Help

I am building a web page for my store and i admit its not my strong point. I have used Dreamweaver CS4 and the site when uploaded to the server does not show the frames i used to design the web page.

Any suggestions?
