Windows 10: Web Search Preview is not working.

Recently I have been facing an issue where I cannot see the preview of any web search. Whenever I wish to do a quick search, I am unable to do it. This has been happening since the recent update. I have already tried the troubleshoot method but it says that no problems were found and the issue still persisted. I have tried restarting a couple of times but it failed again. I do not know what to do next to fix this problem.

Since the steps above did not work for you, we suggest that you disable web search by navigating the settings of Cortana itself. Please follow the steps below:

• Open the search box in the taskbar.
• Click the Notebook icon.
• Click Settings from the list.
• On the Settings page, turn off the Cortana can give me suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts and more option.

Cortana Web Preview Not Working

Hello, I'm on the semi-annual channel for Windows Update. It appears that the update to Windows 10 1809 broke my Cortana Web Preview in some way.

Cortana doesn't show web preview any more. Search still works, but the web preview is gone.

How can I fix this? Web preview is awesome.

Disabling web results in the search box depends on the version and build of your Windows 10. We suggest checking the Windows 10 version and build installed on your computer. To check the version and build, follow the steps below:

• On Cortana search, type winver and press
  Enter.
• A pop-up box will appear containing the version and build of your operating system.

Meanwhile, you can try these steps on how to disable web results in the search box:

• Click the search box in the taskbar.
