Windows 10: Webcam on Asus nor working

I get the following error message: "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer Code 45" I have updated the the driver and restarted the PC without success. Please help

My webcam, which is an in-build webcam on an Asus T100, does not work. I have already tried the steps detailed in "Fix Windows Camera app problems with PC cameras", but I could only uninstall the camera driver, and after Windows installed a new driver, it
still could not work. Please help.

This issue occurs due to the outdated and incompatible Asus K60 webcam
driver.

I would suggest you to uninstall the Asus K60 webcam
driver and reinstall the latest Asus K60 webcam
driver in the compatibility mode in the Device Manager and check, if it works.

Let's try to follow these steps to install the Asus K60 webcam
driver in the compatibility mode with your previous operating system (O.S.) in the Device Manager.

1. Download the latest Asus K60 webcam driver from the manufacturer’s website.

2. Right-click on the setup file and click on the "Properties".

3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.

4. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
