Windows 10: Webcam Zoom in Skype

I have the latest version of Skype. I am able to see my webcam image in the video configuration section, but it is zoomed in too close. Is there a way to adjust the zoom, using Skype or some software-based method?

Skype webcam sound won't work

Terminate Skype, then go to Control panel -> Sound and audio devices -> Audio -> un-check "Use only default devices", restart Skype and see if the webcam audio input is listed.

 

How can I zoom OUT my webcam in Windows?

Does the packaging for the camera list compatibility with Skype? If it doesn't, then that might a be a reason why. Not all web cams are supported by Skype. You can try checking the camera's individual settings to see if you can make adjustments. Learn

If you are using Skype for Windows 10, try switching to the classic version then check if you can adjust Zoom:

Click on Downloads

Click on the dropdown from the blue button:

Click on Get classic Skype.

 

Webcam stuck zoomed-in on Windows 10

I have a problem using applications with my webcam in Windows 10. I am using the built in webcam on my ASUS T100TAF tablet. When I use Skype the image is zoomed in real close. I have gone to the settings in Skype and it is zoomed out as far as it can
go. I get the same problem when using Chrome. I don't have this problem with the camera app. Funnily enough that's the only app out of these which is given access to the camera in PC settings. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
