Windows 10: Weird BSOD Code 0x000001c8

    Weird BSOD Code 0x000001c8


    Recently I saw a BSOD event on Event Viewer with error code 0x000001c8 and I can't find anything on google about this code. I post here because I don't have any dump to attach required for the BSOD subforum.

    Unfortunately I didn't saw the BSOD screen, probably happened while I was away from the computer and rebooted. Also there is no minidump despite saying it was saved , maybe I've cleaned it after running CCleaner.

    I am using an insider build (16257) so I don't know if maybe this BSOD code is new on this build?

    BSOD SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION in win32kbase.sys every time I try to run MAGIX Music Maker 2016 Premium?

    I couldn't reproduce the problem in Safe Mode anymore. Hm. Weird, I swear there was a BSOD when I started it in Safe Mode. I guess the BSOD in Safe mode could've been caused by something else. But it still occurs in normal boot or in a different user.

    Windows 10 BSOD "unexpected_store_exception" & screen glitches

    Thanks! This helped, haven't had a bsod since. But still getting weird screen glitches. tried un/rein-stalling my graphics drivers as well but to no avail.

    Weird BSOD Code 0x000001c8

    There have been a few recent instances of codes like this - I had seen two 0x1c7 bugchecks for which there is also no information. Until Microsoft notices there is missing information for this code it will be impossible to debug it.
