1. Weird issue with 2nd monitor when fullscreen

When using my two monitors (main one in front of me, 2nd on the right) in the correct 1 | 2 orientation, whenever I am fullscreen I can't click on the bottom of the screen (like where the volume controls are). However when I swap the orientation to 2 | 1, the issues is fixed and doesn't occur on either monitor. The issue also goes away when I keep the 1 | 2 orientation but make the 2nd monitor the main monitor.

I'm up to date on all drivers. Using DP for Monitor One & HDMI for Monitor 2.

Anyone have any ideas of what's up?

2. 2nd monitor fullscreen problem (cut off on the top-side and left-side when fullscreen)

For a very long time now I have had this problem where any video (youtube, movie on windows 10, etc) in fullscreen on my 2nd monitor is cut off on the
top-side and
left-side when fullscreen. It's a very annoying but small problem that I can't seem to find any fix to. I've tried looking up the problem on the internet but haven't found any help anywhere. I am pretty sure I've had this problem for atleast 6 months
but I can't really pinpoint any excact time I started to get this fullscreen problem. One thing though I noticed today while watching this intresting rugby game was that when I was in fullscreen I was able to press my desktop with both left and right click
on my mouse.

The "solutions" I've tried are updating graphics drivers to latest, updating to latest windows update, playing around with resolution in my NVIDIA Control Panel, resetted my monitor settings on the monitor itself. Zero of these solutions
have worked for me and I'm starting to get really bugged by this.

My 2nd monitor has the same resolution and aspect ratio as my main monitor (1920x1080, 16:9) so I don't see how that can be the cause of this.

Screenshots of before and after fullscreen on my problematic 2nd monitor problem

Normal window : Screenshot - dee3057a2d26f4fb663c02a80e808313 - GyazoFullscreen : https://gyazo.com/ac3dab1ca67286d3139b50a6176c2b0c

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with this problem since I really want to watch fullscreen videos without this annoying cut-off thing. If you would need any more information
from me to find a solution to this problem such as computer specifications or anything else, feel free to ask me and I'll try to provide you with anything you need. Also I apologize if this question/problem is in the wrong category since I couldn't find any
fitting one.

Thanks in advance!

Dual monitor issue - 2nd monitor "out of range"

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forum.

The error message Out of Range usually occurs when the video card feeds the monitor, a signal stream in excess from what the monitor can handle.

I suggest you to try the steps listed below and see if it works for you:

• Boot the computer in
Safe Mode
, and right click on the Desktop.
• Select Display Properties and choose a lower resolution.
• Reboot the machine and check if it works.
• If the issue persists, boot the computer again in
Safe Mode
, and go to Display Properties.
• Click on Advanced Display Settings, and choose
Display Adapter properties.
• Under Monitor tab, choose
60 Hz
as the Screen Refresh rate.
• Apply the changes, boot the PC in normal mode to see if it works.

Regards,

4. Weird issue with 2nd monitor when fullscreen

2nd Monitor suddenly not working

Hi Michael,

If you recently updated from one version of Windows to another, it's possible that the current driver is for the previous version of Windows. For us to troubleshoot your monitor issue, we suggest performing these steps:

• Run the troubleshooter for devices and hardware. The troubleshooter will perform a diagnostic process on your system that will check and resolve issues related to
using your device.
• Update your monitor and display driver. To update a driver, refer to this
link
. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try checking for one on your device manufacturer's website.

Get back to us with the result.
