Windows 10: Weird keyboard shortcut issues

I've been having issues lately with a keyboard shortcut that uses Ctrl + d. For some reason, no matter what applications I have running, whenever I press that key combo, my secondary monitor starts showing the corners of my primary monitor in a very broken fashion, e.g. the top right quadrant of the secondary shows the top left corner of my primary, the bottom right quadrant of my secondary shows the bottom right corner of my primary, and the left half of my secondary shows the top left corner of my primary display. This key combo is driving me nuts, especially while playing games where I use the Ctrl button and walk around with WASD!

Method 1: Use the hardware troubleshooter to fix the issue

The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which will check the hardware connected to the computer for any known issues with it and provides the details and on how to fix them. Follow these steps and run the troubleshooter.
Follow these steps:

• Press Windows key to get the Start menu.
• Type Troubleshooting in the search box right up corner and hit enter.
• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

Method 2: Also I suggest you to update the latest keyboard drivers for Windows 10 from the manufactures website if not available then install the driver in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. You could face this issue due to corrupt our outdated Keyboard Driver. I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps you.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Move to next method if you still face this issue.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Keyboard driver from manufacturer’s website.

• Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Search for Keyboard driver and expand it.
• Right click on the Keyboard driver
  and select Uninstall.

I suggest you to download the latest keyboard drivers from the manufacturers website. If the issue persist, then let us know the make and model of your device.
