Windows 10: Weird Noise Played on Win10 PC at random intervals

My friends and I have had this noise for like 6 months now and it goes from friend to friend. I've run multiple anti-viruses, deleted sketchy files, and turned off sound for most applications to no avail. It happens randomly between 5-10 mins apart. in volume mixer, when it plays, it doesn't show up as an application, but rather only under system sounds. Please help, thanks.

Weird Noise Coming From Laptop at Random Times

Hello

I have a Lenovo y50-70 laptop. i7 / 8 gb ram / 4 gb gpu

for some time now at random times a weird notification like noise comes from the speakers.

I managed to get a recording of it using the system Stereo Mix. (originally i had to record for half an hour waiting for the sound to play but I trim'd it out.)

I have checked my running tasks n tskmgr and checked startup services. nothing seems. suspicious.

Weird Noise after Anniversary Update

Hi

As per the title after the update my laptop makes a weird noise when I open the start menu or play a sound.

In case of the start menu the noise lasts a second or so and seems to be coming from the cpu.

I have also noticed that if I play music, say on youtube, and mute the pc this noise is persistent although not noticeable with music playing as the audio covers it.

I also had a loop software installed playing an imperceptible sound and the issue persists also with this running.

Anyone has any idea what is causing this?
