Windows 10: Weird PC lockups

Hey guy/gals

Recently I've been having random issues where the entire PC will just hard lock. The only way out is the power or reset switch. It seems to only happen while I'm on the internet with multiple tabs open. Doesn't matter the site or page, but I do notice the longer I'm on the net the more likely the issue will occur. Outside of that I can game for hours, play music, or do photo edits without issue.

Checking Reliability history shows the system suffered a "hardware" error. Current system specs are listed (system One). System is not overclocked. XMP for RAM is enabled.

GPU-Z 0.7.8 / 0.7.9 / 0.8.0 Bios reading not possible GTX670-solved with gpu-z 0.8.1

@Maban - does GPU-Z fail the same way for you the way it does for me? I.e. total system freeze/lockup, requiring a hard reset?

@W1zzard - I will try the suggested steps later today, as I am not near that PC at the moment.

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Weird Color Lockup

Hey guys, I've been getting this dumb lockup with my computer lately, happens only when I play this game called League of Legends, which is weird because it is not even graphic intensive! Installed most updated version of driver and other versions as well but it still happens. Time for a new GPU??

I have it in my 2nd PCIE slot because I can't put it on the first one, blocking my ONLY PCIE slot for my wireless card..(lame) but I don't think that should cause any problems.
