Weird PCI Express port in device manager

I have an oldish i5-3550 on an Asus P8Z77-V motherboard with Z77 chipset. Looking at my device manager, there are several "7 Series PCI Express Root Ports" which look fine, and then a "Xeon E3 v2/3rd Gen PCI Express Root Port" (where my graphics card is attached), which seems odd as I don't have a Xeon processor.

Is that normal? I don't recall ever seeing this in the past.

The Chipset driver is Intel 10.1.1.7 from 16/06/2015. When I try to update it from the properties window, it will go to 10.1.1.13 from 28/10/2015, but still reports with the same name. Also only that "device" updates. Is there a way of updating the whole Chipset inf devices instead of doing it one by one?

    Thanks!

    PCI Express Root Port

    Hi,

I built my windows desktop a few months ago and have never been able to get it to sleep or hibernate.

I ran the powercfg -lastwake command and received this back:

    C:\Windows\system32>powercfg -lastwake

    Wake History Count - 1

    Wake History [0]

    Wake Source Count - 1

    Friendly Name:

    Description: PCI Express Root Port

    Manufacturer: (Standard system devices)

    C:\Windows\system32>

I have adjusted power management settings, disconnected all peripherals etc and none of it has made a difference.

I had this issue before putting in a usb pcie expansion slot. My other pcie connected components are my GPU.

Does anyone have any tips on what to change to be able to get my computer to sleep?

    These are my components:

Mobo Gigabyte B450 aorus pro wifi

    GPU Gigabyte 1080 windforce

    CPU Ryzen 2600x

    RAM Trident Z 3200

    Boot drive m.2 970 evo

    Second drive m.2 860 evo

Thanks Weird PCI Express port in device manager :)
