Windows 10: Weird Symbol where colon should be

I had windows 10 for a very long time and I originally thought it was supposed to be there and apparently its not but I have all my fonts I don't have winaero tweaker or whatever and it's really been bugging me but i've also got my fonts on some my apps messed up but when I go on sites its fine and normal.

comma button and colon symbol

Hello,

After update my phone to Windows Phone 8.1 I lost colon symbol from "dot" button submenu.

I turned on "comma" button, but submenu of "dot" button still has comma-symbol too. Why do we need 2 comma symbols in this case? Is it bug or a strange feature?

Previous version of Windows Phone (8) has colon in "dot" submenu.

So I’m not big on Copy n’ Pasting links as advice, but I found a MS forum that speaks right to this and Segoe UI font. Check this out!

What font are you using?

The clock, I believe, uses the ratio character U+2236 (∶) instead of the colon: )

The ratio character is more centered in the numbers, 7∶36 vs the colon 7:36, which looks like it's sagging. Like what a digital clock LCD would display.

I'd bet your font is missing U+2236. If you chose a font with that character, or used the default font, then this would probably behave.

(I think you might be using Segoe UI Black? I'm told that font does not include this codepoint) Entering feedback using the feedback hub would provide a way for us to track this request, thanks).

You hit the nail right on the head, Shawn! I had changed the font to Segoe Black. I tried several other fonts and kept the problem but changing to Segoe Semi-Light corrected it and my time now looks correct. Thank you very much for your accurate help.

BTW, in various places including the Font listing in Control Panel, the Default Font is said to be "Segoe UI". There is no Segoe UI to be had. There are several varieties of Segoe but not Segoe UI by itself.

Thanks Dave! I didn't even have to restart my computer, haha. Anyway, I installed all of the fonts and instantly the colon was fixed. Thanks! Now I can tell time easily (and believe me, that makes life a whole lot easier)
