Windows 10: What are the bare services and components needed for WiFi?

Title pretty much says it all.

I am creating a custom iso for Windows 10. I prefer minimal activity running in the background of my computer, meaning services I do not need are disabled and components I do not need are deleted. The problem is I cannot find a good answer for WiFi.


Which bare services do I keep automatic or manual for WiFi to work? What windows components do I need for WiFi to remain functional?

Help with the Windows Search Service failed

• Which build, version and edition of Windows is installed on your computer?
• What changes have you made to your computer before this issue occurred?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In the meantime, we suggest refreshing the Windows Search service. To do so, follow these steps:

• Press the Windows key + R to pull-up the Run box.
• In the Run box, type services.msc and then hit the Enter key.
• In the Services window, look for Windows Search, right-click on it and then choose Stop.
• Restart your computer.
• Pull-up the Services window again.
• Look for Windows Search, right-click on it and then choose Start.

Video card or RAM need upgrading?

Memtest: no errors after 10 hrs.
I'm going to perform the Primetest, later on. Get back to you on that.
I'm going to take it step by step, guys. I need to find the problem with this current computer. I might have to upgrade some components, so that it is still runnable. As for the new one, yes....i will build on it later. I need to find something decent 'gaming experience', all suggestions appreciated. THanks.
