Windows 10: what can be done about bluetooth drops

Discus and support what can be done about bluetooth drops in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have replaced my bluetooth adapter 3x with no luck, the issue is definatly Windows related, I have a pair of Bose QC35 headphones that work perfectly...     what can be done about bluetooth drops


    I have replaced my bluetooth adapter 3x with no luck, the issue is definatly Windows related, I have a pair of Bose QC35 headphones that work perfectly with everything except what I bought them for MY Windows desktop computer, I also have wireless mouse and keyboard that have the same issue. I find it difficult to believe that no one doesn't have the same issues. I have tried every recommended fix from the Windows community as well as some fron You Tube all with no luck. Can someone please help?????????

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Pairing Bluetooth Headphones

    As an additional troubleshooting step, we suggest that you try to change the Startup type for Bluetooth Support Service as Automatic. Here are the steps:



    • In the search box, type services and click on the result.
    • Select and double-click Bluetooth Support Service.
    • Under the Startup type, click on the drop-down menu and change it to
      Automatic.
    • Restart your computer.

    Bluetooth in windows 10

    My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

    I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

    Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision
