Windows 10: What causes my Desktop freezing

For the last month, my desktop freezes after a while and nothing works. I have to do a hard shutdown. Some other times I have to do two or three shutdowns before it will boot up correctly.

• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• When the computer freezes, do you get an error message?

Windows boots to the desktop then freezes

Yeah...I went to google and got the F8...lol*Stick Out Tongue ....thxxx

It boots up in safe mode and seems to work fine. Now I just need to figure out what's causing windows to freeze up befor it fully loads in normal start up operation.

Any suggestions where I might start ?

I suggest you to run the System Maintenance troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on View All in the top left pane.
• From the list click on System Maintenance and follow the on screen prompts.
