Windows 10: What happened to my Windows versions 1804 to 1808?

I'm reading a How-To-Geek stating that M$ have pulled the October 2018 update for Windows 10, because it was deleting files.

The October update is version 1809. My current version is 1803.

AFAIK, I don't refuse any Windows updates. Why am I missing some versions?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
