Windows 10: What happened to NETCFG?

I was wondering why netcfg /v in an elevated command prompt produces nothing. Is this something I need to enable. My user account is part of the administrators group. I am on Win 11 with the latest service pack. I really need this info to trouble shoot some DNS issues I am having amongst with DHCP issues. Thank you in advance is you can tell me how it get this info or enable NETCFG. I hope they did not take it out.Thanks-John

Lost internet connection after upgrading to Windows 10.

Follow these steps to retrieve the wifi connection lists. I would like to suggest you to make a restore point in case something unexpected happened.

Step 1:- Open Command Promp (Admin) and enter the following command

reg delete HKCR\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f

Step 2:-Now enter this and press Enter.

netcfg -v -u dni_dne

Step 3:- Restart your pc and check whether your problem gets solved or not. Mark this article 'Answered' if the solution works.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Reinstall network devices using netcfg –d command


After trying just about everything I could find to fix networking since 1511 update I found a help page at Microsoft.

Notice that you must be running the 1511 update.

It helped with one of my computers, but the others are still network only when they feel like it.
