Windows 10: What happens when a power interruption occurs in the middle of my Windows installation?

I've been thinking about upgrading my 32 bit Windows to 64 bit but I'm scared that an unscheduled power interruption might happen, because it happens a lot in my area. What would happen if, in the middle of my installation, a power interruption happens? Would my hard drive be permanently damaged? Can I reinstall Windows? What would happen to my computer and how would I fix it? And which parts of my computer would be damaged?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Installation interrupted by power failure

The windows 10 install was interrupted by power failure.

Laptops monitor continuously alternates rapidly between a black screen and a blue windows 10 screen.

No software & applications are responsive or usable.

Control, ALT, Delete allows me to shut down the laptop.

Interruption occurred during driver installation, Im guessing a display driver failure.

May I try reinstalling windows 10 again on the same laptop. Would this solve the problem.

 

Display Problem After Power Outage in Middle of Windows Updates

Yeah, I get you about treating the symptoms. I just couldn't see how a power outage in the middle of a Windows update would adversely affect a video card and / driver.

Since it's really not my PC and my friend is an insurance agent with a ton of insurance company software sitting on it - software that he'd have to jump through a fair number of hoops to reinstall, I'll try deleting the video driver and then rebooting. And if that doesn't work, I'll go with Bree's Repair Install suggestion.
