    What if I stop Windows Update in windows 10?


    Hi,


    By default, there is no option to stop Windows Update in Windows 10.


    I have a Windows 10 Tablet and it has only 32 GB Internal Memory and 2GB RAM.


    Because of continuous Windows Update, C Drive is getting full and Tablet starts working slow.


    At the end I reset Tablet and stopped Windows 10 update using services.msc.


    What issue I can expect after stopping Windows 10 update?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    That doesn't stop windows update from grabbing them on next run, at least it didn't back in the RTM days. It simply stops a secondary process from installing them immediately.
