What is eating away my RAM?

So I have a 8 GB RAM on my laptop and I noticed that 3.7 GB were already used and only a little over 4 GB was free to use. I wasn't also getting good performance in video games. And I also noticed my battery wasn't holding up for more that a few hours and it was declining steadily even if my laptop was idle. So, I followed these things -

    1) Turned off notifications.

    2) Turned off Game Bar.

    3) Turned off all visual effects in Control Panel for better performance.

I don't know whether these have any effect or not but next I did these -

    4) Removed a lot of bloatware using PowerShell following this guide.

    5) Disabled most of the tings in Startup tab of Task Manager.

    6) Disabled all non-Microsoft related services in the services tab of msconfig run command.

I noticed that now my total RAM used was 2.7 GB and somehow 1 entire GB was free now. But after restarting my laptop, I found that used RAM was back to 3.5 GB. Even after disabling all those services at startup, my RAM doesn't free up and I don't think my battery holds up either.

Whats really eating my RAM and what can I do to fix it? Someone, please help.

    Win-10 eating up ram ?...

I know there is a problem with Google chrome eating up all the ram on my Macs.

I think it is doing the same thing on my Win-10 computers.

As soon as I close Google chrome browser my ram usage drops back down to normal.

How can I print out the list of running processes ?

What is eating away my RAM?

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
