Windows 10: What is Faulting module name: COMCTL32.dll

Windows 10, 21H2 JapaneseRe-installed around 2022, July 20I used to use a music making software on Windows Vista, I re-installed it on Windows 10 computer. It is working but some time all of sudden it exit the program. OK I tried the steps you gave me and the system found no errors. When I tried to run the app again, I get the same error as before

I have a java application which i am running inside jetty container as i need to host it on IIS.

My application fails with below error :

This does not happen always.

After i start my application, sometime it fails within 5 mins ,sometime it goes running for 2-3 days, some time it fails in 3-4 hrs.

i am running this on windows server 2016.

Also, its not possible to restore my machine to a previous restore point.

I want to understand why this error occurs.
