    Thank you for the tip - the JPEGs were making me think I needed stronger coffee.

    I tried to embed just thumbnails, but the thumbnails I wound up with were just about as big as the JPEGs themselves. Probably pilot error.

    Hey Ron. If you are not using any software depending on Java, you can possibly remove it completely. Nowadays there are only a very minor set of webpages requiring Java.

    Another option is to have Java installed but DISABLE Java platform for all browsers (done under Java Control Panel Applet).
