Windows 10: What is Windows 10 1511 (OS Build 10586.3)?

I just download Windows 10 Build 10586 direct from a Microsoft Download site. Installed clean from the ISO. Activated by my Windows 8.1` activation key. Very cool. But what's with the new numbering scheme. Unusually the downloaded ISO name was ***1511*.iso in lowercase letters. However properties show it was indeed from Microsoft.

What gives.??

CoreDraw X7 not working after latest Win 10 Update

Windows 10 'New Features' update has stopped CorelDraw X7 and Corel Paint from working. Prior to this update it worked perfectly. Any ideas?

1511 is just the version number. It's still build 10586.3 after installing all updates.

 

How do I download Version 1511 Build 10586.3 iso so I can do clean installs on clients computers with there Windows 7 Pro keys, without doing upgrades?

It's for 10586.0. You'll need to check for updates afterwards to get to 10568.3.

With th2 build 1511 10586 you don't need to do that any more. You can do a clean install and activate with your Win 7, 8 or 8.1 key.
