Windows 10: 'What needs your attention' - Win11 update stuck

Hello,I've been trying to install the preview of Windows 11 by subscribing to the Dev channel of the Windows Insiders Program. The update downloaded with no issues, however, while installing, it is stuck at 35% with a dialog box that reads, 'What needs your attention' attached screenshot. However, the box seems to be empty, and doesn't change even after repeatedly clicking on 'Refresh'. I've tried general solutions like making sure I've linked the right account to Insiders Preview and enabled it, enabled all privacy settings, turned on optional diagnostic data, etc. I even tried updating aft

Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:

• New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
• CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
• Package change to Halide free package

Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. I understand your Lumia 610 keeps getting stuck on step 6 of the update that you're trying to install. I can provide you a few steps to try in an effort to resolve the update issue.



There are a couple of different steps on a support page located at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484 that we'll want to try. I would suggest the steps for stuck in download mode, stuck at OEM splash screen, and error not listed on this page.



Before performing the suggested reset under the steps for error not listed, I would first suggest trying a soft reset. If you're able to remove the battery, leaving it out of the phone for a few minutes will soft reset the phone. Another option for performing
a soft reset would be to hold the power and volume down buttons until the phone has restarted completely.
