ramwolff, when you access Reliability History, could you please RIGHT click on "check for a solution",which should then give you a panel which includes "VIEW TECH DETAILS".Then left click on that and you will then get a list of data. The line entitled "Bucket ID"is the one you want.Copy it[ctrl+c],then paste it into your web browser for a search. It should present a Microsoft TechNet address for that problem, plus many others e.g. Toms hardware etc. There are many variables involved, but one solution posted may match yours.
NEVER bother with the "check for a solution" link,if there was a solution available then there shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks but still can't get past the "You do not have permission" notice. Considering it's my system and I AM the admin I need to know how to tell the command prompt that. Help?

What should I look for, new computer sudden shut down!

OK... found a page on the web that helped me get the Command Prompt running as Admin.

C: drive is locked or something so scheduled that for when I reboot the computer. Right now checking my D: drive as it's a drive I have allot of my work on and it is a couple of years old so want to make sure. That's being checked while I'm in Windows as it's not locked (or what ever).

OK. Checking in. The D and C drives all check out fine. I ran a check on the CPU too. That seems to be fine. I'm currently running a check on the GPU but not sure what I'm supposed to gather from this checker. It's from EVGA and since I'm running a NVIDIA card from them I guess it's the right thing to do.

The strangeness of all of this is it's happening when I run render from one of my 3D apps. I've watched movies with no issue. Normal, everyday things like browser, youtube and using explorer to navigate around the system seems fine, even working in ZBrush to do my 3D work seems OK but when I'm doing a test render for a character skin or lighting tests... black screen, system off very very suddenly. So to ME it's pointing to the GPU since most of those processes are being used through iRay which uses the GPU's CUDA cores and the cards built in RAM.
