What the heck is going on with my bluetooth Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse...?

Ever since the 1809 update (and subsequent updates) the mouse won't select when you click on things the first time you click, and sometimes it won't on the second or third time either... I've changed bluetooth adapters. I've replaced the batteries multiple times. I've repaired the device through bluetooth multiple times. I've uninstalled the device, uninstalled the drivers, and reinstalled MULTIPLE times. I've uninstalled the software (https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/products/mice/sculpt-comfort-mouse/h3s-00003#techspecs-connect), and reinstalled MULTIPLE times. NOTHING WORKS. My co-workers are also experiencing the same issues!! Please fix these issues ASAP!

Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse rubber disintegrating

Update: Contacted Microsoft Answer Desk and they told me the support for this mouse is "END OF LIFE". That's a load of bull as the "Sculpt Comfort mouse" is still listed for sale on the Microsoft site: https://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Sculpt-Comfort-Mouse/productID.282133900

So they offered me a choice of 4 cheaper alternatives (only 2 of the 4 were bluetooth mice).

My mouse is only 4 months old and Microsoft still sells this very mouse. I really believe I should receive the exact same mouse.

  Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse driver first before installing the latest one?

  Did you make any changes on your laptop before

Please note that Microsoft sculpt Comfort Mouse has inbuilt Bluetooth and does not require a dongle. Just press and hold the Bluetooth key to turn it on.





You will need to download and install the
Software & Drivers for your Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse. After which, you can follow the steps below to add the mouse to your Laptop:

1. Open Windows Settings (Windows key + I).
   
2. Then click on Devices.
   
3. Then click on Bluetooth & other devices.
   
4. Then click on Add Bluetooth & other devices and add the mouse.
   

If you want a Bluetooth dongle for your laptop, then you will need to check on third party websites or in local stores. Alternatively you can also check with our supplement parts team, if they can help you. You can reach them at:
