    What the hell has gone on with Windows 10?


    What's going on with Windows 10. Updating to KB4568831 is looping. Installing till 100 and then back to 0? The hell!

    In Settings, some things are 'managed by your organisation' which makes no sense?

    When I shutdown/restart the computer, it does a update thing everytime? Getting Windows ready....

    Windows takes loads of CPU when starting up- system taking up 50% and command and windows update service host taking 25% and what the hell is Microsoft Cabinet Maker which takes up 10% and Console Window Host at 12%. What the hell are these thing?? Pls help....

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    What the hell, MS?

    I have Windows 7. I was intending to upgrade to Windows 10 before all the privacy implications of Windows 10 became apparent.

    As a result, I uninstalled the "recommended" update that puts Win10 on my machine, and "hid" the update in Windows Update.

    I also noticed that Microsoft went and installed several "security" patches that were actually telemetry updates, and went through the same process with them.

    As of today, I find that Microsoft has gone ahead and re-installed all these patches, along with the Win10 nagware again.

    WHAT THE HELL. If I wanted Win10, I would ask for it. I own this machine, not you!

    Anyway, can anyone suggest a more permanent removal process? Also, to which poor soul should I direct my feedback on this behavior?

    Windows 10 My Favourites list is gone!

    I have loaded up Windows 10 and my favourites list is gone. This is pretty frustrating as I had a big list of favourites built up over a couple of years for work and my own personal browsing. I tried the adive offered by Krishna to Maggie in the forum which
    was:

    "I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps to restore the favourites.

    • Click This PC
    • Type %userprofile% into the Address bar
    • Press Enter on your keyboard
    • Right click the Favorites folder
    • Click Properties
    • Click Previous Versions
    • Wait for the list of previous versions to load
    • Select a version that was before you lost the files/folders
    • Click Restore."
    When I got to step 6 my previous versions list showed only today. Surely the loading of Windows 10 has not wiped out my Favourites? What can I do from here?
