    what the hell is the problem with dwm.exe


    Hey lads so I have a Gaming Laptop and there's been a problem bugging me since i've had it. its the fact that dwm.exe is constantly chugging 50% of my cpu and gpu. This results in my laptop being terrible at running games getting about 60-70fps in CS:GO. Microsoft support was useless as hell. So i have come to the well of knowledge known as reddit for help. My specs for my laptop are as follows

    RTX 2060 MaxQ

    Intel i7 9750H32GB RAM 2.6Ghz

    If anyone has any insight into the issue on why it's running so poorly please do let me know. thanks

    Edit 1 - I realized its when I plug my Monitor in, dwm.exe flares up to 50%

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
