  1. What The @#$#%#^% Is Going On With Malwarebytes

For a couple of hours now MBAM Services has taken over CPU and Memory to the point nothing else would work or load. Produced several Unexpected Windows Shutdowns, two failed restarts and still wouldn't quit. Pretty much turned this thing into nothing more than a big desk lamp. I finally managed to disable it from starting with windows.

Anyone else having an MBAM problem?

    :)

People on the Malwarebytes Forum have been complaining about the same issue.

I had an issue this afternoon where I had a game crash and MBM unlicensed itself so I had to use their new cleaner to reinstall it. Seems ok now.

Keep an eye on their forums to see whats being said.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled twice this morning and it still won't start real time protection. I tried to download the cleaner from their support site and it says down for maintenance. Go figure. If I try to run a scan, programs close and it locks up. this is crap.

  7. Thank You for the quick response. I was ready to do the Uninstall. I'll hold off for now.

Foolish me, I thought I had it to protect me from some of the things like that.

Yes, it hit me this morning all three computers that were turned on. I just black Screened forcing me to use a hard shutdown. On restart, Mbam was disabled and could not connect to the server. I ran a full Norton scan which found nothing.
What I did was just restore a C:\ partition on all three computers. Everything is fine for now at this point.
I would say this hit me at around 11:00 Central by 13:00 I have restored all three computers with images backed up yesterday and now have no issues

Web Protection off caused by a bad update and also caused very high CPU/Memory usage.

Problem fixed a few minuets ago with update 1.0.3803.

After getting update you need to quit MB and restart it.

  14. Makes you tense up with numbers like that. Just updated to the fix and back to normal. I did have to restart twice to get Web Protection to stay enable.

    Good Luck everyone.

Malwarebytes forum just closed the thread to comment on this issue :Web Blocking / RAM Usage Issue". What about all the people that can't get back online to run the update. this is really bad JuJu for MBAM
