    What to check when a laptop unexpectedly upgrades to W11


    Hi All,Our company has our own build of Windows 10 that we deploy to Dell Latitude and HP Elitebook machines.Through group policy, the users should not be able to upgrade their work machine to Windows 11, it should be locked down to administrators only; however, a small amount of Dell and HP machines have upgraded to Windows 11. I just wanted to see if anyone had this before and what I should check to see how these machines could upgrade when it should be locked to just administrators

    I have a win10bootable usb. It shows up in the boot list. but mem86 usb dosen't show up.

    Latest W11 updates check for TPM v2

    Hi folks
    Any of you guys thinking of upgrading to W11 -- even if you get a release installed without a TPM the latest upgrades via WU now check for a TPM and won't upgrade even if you are running W11.

    One way round that is to run W11 in a Virtual machine with a software TPM emulator -- I think HYPER-V has one and in Linux swtpm package installs the IBM TPM emulator which is recognized by even the latest version of W11.
