  1. What to Upgrade - SSD or Memory ?

Hello, I am Anshul Majmudar. I own an Lenovo Ideapad S145 having 4 GB memory and a 1TB hard drive as storage. My laptop has very slow speed in terms of opening apps and also lags a lot on loading photos and playing games. The laptop has an extra DDR4 memory slot and an unused SSD slot.

So in order to improve the performance of my Laptop what should I upgrade?

    Thank you,

    Anshul M.

    :)

  2. Upgraded Windows Transfer from HDD to SSD

    Hi

My windows was upgraded from 8 to 10 on my laptop few years back. I was trying to get the HDD replaced with SSD. During the copy process, the technician said windows cannot be moved to SSD as it is an upgraded version from 8 to 10.

Kindly guide if there is a possibility to copy the windows to SSD ? If so, please suggest the steps.

HP stream wont update windows 10 , not enough memory

To further assist you, we suggest that you run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Refer to the steps provided below:

    • On the Start screen, type memory.
    • Click Settings and then click the result Diagnose your computer's memory problems.
    • Select the option to run the tool.

We also suggest you to temporarily disable the antivirus as it consumes more memory and then try to upgrade.

Let us know how it goes.
