Windows 10: What’s coming soon for Windows Insiders in upcoming flights

I'm not really concerned about MS and what's good for them, they are big enough to take care.

 

I'm wondering why Myerson made the announcement and Dona had just a tweet. Leads me to think there may be management shuffling going on within MS again.

That was not at all what I was suggesting. But we can give feedback on features that we don't use nor understand. Which is pointless. Inking was just an example...Windows has thousands of small features integrated that makes life easier and hundreds more are on the way...

Of course a development team would select reviewers that are skilled in the topic under test/development, can make a good arguments with technically detailed examples, and is not absolute in how things should look and work. With a small group it is much easier to make conversations that will produce the outcome of the project under development that all parties desire in the end.

 

Agree 100%......let those who feel M$ are depriving them of their "FIX" have their say.

 

I think you’re making some good points, Slice. I have a hunch they’ll be looking for active Insiders. For instance, who fills out their quests in the Hub? If so, what medal do we have? How about feedback count? How many times do we even open the Feedback Hub app? I think these are the things they will be looking at to pick those to test. They may also be looking at our telemetry to see what apps we use and activity we have.

Another good point you made is if someone can test the feature at all, both with hardware and software. With the Sets feature it looks like we’ll need to have O365, use Edge (which everyone should have), OneDrive, perhaps OneNote, and perhaps be proficient at using them all.
