  2. How can I remove the Win10 icon that Microsoft Update recently placed in my Win7 system tray?

How can I remove the Win10 icon that Microsoft Update recently placed in my Win7 system tray? I do not want Win10 or have the hardware to deal with it. The icon pops up an annoying little window with a pitch for Win10 on it. I do not have the skills to
    edit my registry.

  3. Thumbnails

Ever since upgrading from Win7 to Win10, many folders which contain a lot of images no longer display thumbnails correctly. Out of say 100 images, I'll see only one or two thumbnails; the rest are just generic image file icons. Hitting Refresh or selecting
    the Refresh command does nothing.

    What's up?
