    I have 16 GB Ram. I don't think half of it should be running on 'empty'.
    Last night I tried that msconfig (System Config) "rule out" test and I came up with Killer Network (an Alienware thingy) as the top culprit.
    So I disabled it (& ONLY it) in msconfig. It's still off today, so I booted up, the Ram was looking like it did last night after the fix worked.
    But over the course of an hour or so it becomes thickerer till it looks like that pic up there.

    Maybe I'm being a fuddy duddy but it seems strange.
    Any thought bubbles? *Huh

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin What's feasting on my RAM? :D
