Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

Nice Stuff with Win10 Spring 2020 Update

    Version 2004 Code name 20H1 Spring 2020

A re-imagined Cortana. It is, now, a movable, sizable, actual, APP-like 'assistant' which, will, now, update itself separately, independently from the OS.

New, eye-catching, artistic, realistic & pretty new icons.

Reset (your PC) with the Cloud

New and improved Network/Connection page in Settings.

Windows Ink Workspace, now, gives you Microsoft Whiteboard & Full screen snips you can mark-up.

Calendar has an easier ability to Add New Events. Oh, there is a funky new Calendar, too.

And heaps more especially, under the hood.

Watch for the Update coming soon to a computer near you.

    Cheers,

    Drew

    What's New - Win10 Spring 2020 Update

Nice Stuff with Win10 Spring 2020 Update

    Hi,

My 1st thought was, why are you asking... but, maybe, I can guess... anyway:

And, before I answer, there are other quick & easy ways to find the version

WinX + y which, takes one to Settings/System/About.

Or hit Settings icon > System/About

    Now:

Currently we are on Win10 Version 1909 OS Build 18363.693.

What is being discussed in the OP is the 2020 Spring Update for Windows 10 and some Features therein. Once it is deployed via WU, Windows 10 will be Version 2004 OS Build 19xxx.xxx

It's what Windows Insiders have been working on for the past last 6 months.

It is done & we will see it within the next very few weeks.

NB: With 10 using Run is oft not necessary. Win+X gives access to many things directly. Also, the Win+X listings have underlined letters. Win+X+the letter goes straight to the item with nothing but key strokes. Ironically, (comically) can even do one for
    Run Winx/r

    I trust I guessed correctly
