  3. Is windows 10 IoT free ?

    Its free for certain types of hardware, example: Windows 10 IoT Core for the Raspberry PI.

    Also, you need to download the right edition for the developer board you own. Learn more:

  4. What’s next for Windows 10 IoT Core

    That kit is listed on Adafruit, Microsoft IoT Pack for Raspberry Pi 3 - w/ Raspberry Pi 3 I already have most of what's in it. To be honest I haven't been all that impressed with Windows 10 IoT so far. I'll have to have a read to see if they've added anything since the last time I tried it.

    EDIT. lol, should have read it before posting. Adafruit is mentioned with the link I posted.
