Windows 10: whats the correct charger for microsoft 950

my microsoft 950 single sim takes up to six hours to fully charge.

if i use it while its connected to a charger it starts to discharge.

please help.

Recommended portable charger for Lumia 950/950 XL

Hi,

• Any recommendation of portable charger (Anker,etc) for Lumia 950/950XL ?
• Will exiting 5V/1.0 or 1.3A output charger still work by just changing to USB-C cable? (only charging time might be longer).
• Does Lumia 950/950XL charger/car charger must use USB-C charging cable(w/ 56Kohm pull-up) or regular USB-C cable will be just fine?

Lost charger for Microsoft 950

I'm sure my charger is the same as your charger.

The key is that it is:

output DC 5V 3.0A

Input 100-240 v 50-60Hz 0.40A

Just as an FYI, my charger is Model AC 100U





This charger has the cable as a permanent part of the part that plugs into the AC outlet. Using a USB-C cable and an AC adapter will give you the same result. It will charge the device but the added bonus is you can also charge off of a laptop or other powered
USB output (similar to what you nor see on AC wall plugs).

Keep in mind that mine was with the 950XL but I maintain that it would charge your 950 perfectly and that the replacement I linked above in a previous reply should do the trick for you. If you can find the same power adapter that would be good but usually
it is difficult to get the exact one.

If you got the plugin type they can vary in output 1, 2, 3 amps. Look at the specs
