Windows 10: Whatsapp App in Windows 10 not opening, asking for Update everytime

My Whatsapp App for Desktop has stopped opening since today. Whenever I try to open, it asks to update. When Clicking 'Update", it returns every time to same "Update Screen." I uninstalled the App several time, shut down my computer, re-installed it again, tried this process many times, but problem is not resolved. I also checked for Windows Updates, everything is updated. What to do?

whatsapp asking for phone pin number to open

Hello,

I was using WhatsApp on my Lumia 930 , and I switched to another app for a minute , but when I tried to open WhatsApp again, it asked me to enter my phone locking pin, and I didn't enable WhatsApp two steps verification, is this normal, or was it someone
trying to hack my phone.
